Remember

remember when journals didn't talk back
when you went shopping you bought off the rack
a computer weighed in at 25 tons
when robbing your neighbor you just used a gun
you could touch your girls skin
and smell her hair
remember the sun
is it still there?

wonderful tale of nastaltia ( I know I spelled it wrong ) I really like the part about touching your girls skin. Short but powerful

Sorry to say I haven't read a book ("Into the Wild"
by, Jon Krakauer) since I bought a computer about 9 years ago.

Oops, posted that a little hastily. Toying with my mouse.

Do you remember one of Issac Azimov's first mystery stories? About someone actually being murdered by hand in the age of computers. Detective work.

Here we are at a poetry reading, but I'm at home and you are at home and I cannot hear your voice or see you make faces. And even with a webcam, I can't smell you. Etc.
