Seventy-six slits.

how many slits in a leg
define
the feeling of someone you love
saying
they no longer feel that way
define
the look of someone you love, post coitus
saying
you are no longer what you were?

76.
Seventy-six slits.

It amazes me how one can capture you with a few simple words. It's depressing but real!

Man, I hate to relive horrible moments... but I have been there!

Great work. So much intensity in such few lines, so well done for that. I thought this was both moving and easy enough to understand. Love is a theme we can all relate to (or the lack of love) and the many things we will put ourselves through because of it. Thanks for sharing your piece, I liked it.

This is a powerful piece I agree. I have a friend who actully does these things and its all down to lack of love . When she really coul do with right now. You have got your point across very well. Well done

Powerful and to the point. It took me to that place where you were almost going to try and explain the emotion following the events and then, with too much despair to find the words, you SHOWED me the pain instead.
