A Curse Desired

Jason
Your name brushes irony's blackened teeth
when you shame the hero
only a man could deserve this fate
it will seem that fortune smiles, at first
when you bathe in every sea
the warm waters testing your flesh
the air of every mountain entering your lungs
You will live into the age of iReality
and beyond the extent of human existence
You live to know things beyond your imagination

Sieg
both labels for you were misplaced
Your last name means "victory"
and you are victorious
in nothing
once fortune's smile turns
everyone around you will wither
Your lovers will shrivel
Your friends will wrinkle
all will be granted eternal slumber
except for you
the weight of a bullet may collapse your heart
a sinking car may pull you under
even with your lungs collapsed over metal
You will live
live to experience the pain of death
a thousand times over
when the earth itself collapses
You
and the great vacuum of space
the sun to cook your flesh
watch it sizzle and burn with bulbous sores
every attempted breath will result in failure
but you will live
because only a man could deserve a fate
like immortality
