[Insert Witty Pick-up Here]

Do I engage your fascination,
Another exotic girl for your collection,
It must feel so great,
Being a hunter,
Stalking your prey from the bar,
Studying my movements,
Drunken vision blurring
Any point of vulnerability.

Take another shot of courage,
Before you move in for the kill,
Pathetic accountant trying to
Take down an Amazon,
You Stand like David,
Before Goliath.

Now that you're here,
Face-to-face,
Let me help you,
It's my friend here,
Who is taking me home,
Again tonight,
You'll probably sleep alone.

Take your hand
Off of my body,
Being as it is, a prize,
That is far from won.

I watch you retreat,
Back to the bar,
Bartender preparing
Another suit of armor,
Inebriated steps,
Again toward my table.

Perhaps I should have
Allowed you to speak,
Before shooting you down,
But my sadist ways,
Rather enjoyed your face,
First anger, then shame,
'Your fly is down.'

A fearful retreat,
This battle lost,
'Bartender, better
Make that a double!'

By this time you're
Having trouble walking,
But all the more brazen,
Demanding my number,
Perchance you won't recognize
The number is from Japan,
But celebrate tonight,
With another double shot.

Now you feel like a king,
You conqueror,
It's just too bad,
The best impression you've made,
Is the beer nut imprinted on your forehead.

hah, I liked this one as well, although I have to admit that it makes me afraid to hit on girls at bars now =P But yeah, I like the language and also the Amazon metaphor.

Love the closing lines! The attitude is uniform through-out, without charity, fed-up, and smirky.

I wonder if the 4 lines "A fearfull retreat. . . " are misplaced because he hadn't retreated as you tell it- he asks for your number etc. Can you do without those lines? The rest is clearly your original take and the line he gives is appropriately cliche.

Okay, okay, that's me off the sauce for another year!! Honestly though, I have seen this happen so often, and I just find it funny. You have captured it extremely well.
