Haiku Collection

Mastermind

Lobotomized boy
speaks the language of genius:
absolute silence.

- - -

Peacock

A thousand green eyes
shift and smile, shimmering...
opened by soft winds.

- - -

Funeral Fog

Cloud of pearl descends
Sifting mist sweeps lotus pond
Swiftly woven shroud

Finishing Touches
(for Tom Pagano; 9/9/72 - 7/14/06)

Tom lifts his pencil
sketches himself exiting
leaves it half-finished
