the shoes were piled high in the wardrobe
every kind imaginable
stacked up and TEetErInG in towers
everytime he opened the wardrobe
they would fall upon him and he would have
to stack them up again
under a quarter had been worn
but she convinced him she needed more
more shoes
so
he bought her
a pair of trainers
some expensive pumps
3/4 length leather boots
chamois sandles
& a chic set of thongs
& she took them
out of their boxes
& stacked them
up
ready...
