I am a chemical-perfume allergy sufferer that has been unable to use most beauty products on the market because I get seriously congested. I have tried several recipes from this b'Žook--not only have they not irritated my skin they have not irritated my allergies and are lots of fun to make and feel good too. Great way to use up leftover fruits & vegetables too!! You've got to try the Candlelight Cocktail Bath with your sweetheart---exotically sensual!! It's a great gift for friends & family. I really like the idea that I can make my own skincare treatments without the use of dyes & other chemicals.

This writer combined important caveats about skin products, used a wonderfully personable intro (loved the part about author as a child and what led to her interest) and provides a useful, easy to read list of treatments that can be used by folks from all socioeconomic levels, without the "hype" that characterizes so many beauty/self care products. Definitely a must see/read/purchase
