The Bracelet - Wee Challenge #12

'You just took it,' I said.

'I always get what I want,' she replied.

'But it's stealing, and what about that curse he mentioned?'

'Do you think a Chinese market trader is really going to own a cursed bracelet?'

'It wasn't even for sale. You didn't just take it off his stall, you stole it from him.'

She stopped and faced me. 'Why are you so boring?'

Indeed. Who knows how many curses may be contained within one bracelet? Many thanks for the comments.

Yikes! I suppose it would not to scorn a woman with such a dangerous trinket as this. Maybe there is another hidden curse within (such as the one that inflicted King Minus)

Great flash Gareth.

Thanks for the comments, all. I suppose a curse needn't always necessarily be fatal and it is an open-ended climax. I leave it up to you to decide if you think the crime deserved to be punished so harshly...

Great story, Gareth. Hopefully our friend Michelle walked away with only a few minor scratches- and she has no intention to steal ever again :-)
