The Whipping Boy

Black and white collided
In a flawed body of frail flesh and weak blood,
Creating chaos in one forgotten soul.

From youth to maturity
Life never abided this boy to achieve his goals.
Through toils and deceptions

His will grew stronger,
But could never dismiss and never healed.
Just calloused over the wounds and grew old, bitter.
Anger fuels his vision now. Death.

Harry, I like the dark, ominous tone in this poem. --Robert Barlow
