love

I really do love you.
I try in a quiet way to find a place to be okay .....
a place to lay down with you.
Here there are no walls.
I feel for you unabashedly even after all these years.
A thousand battles behind us,
many more surely to come.
We will find ourselves shoulder to shoulder, until we are stooped,
ready to embrace the world around us.....because we are together.
It, (the Love) doesnt fit into a story I have heard so far,
quiet but mixed with the reality that ruins the fantasy...
of what love is supposed to be.
That is what is so different...
the chance to have what is real and not only that
which can be imagined
