The Golden Ticket

On an icy street
Somewhere in the
Pages of a great novella
A poor boy
Runs through a
Busy street.

Clutching more money
Than his
Mind can
Hold he
Races
Into Heaven.

Leaving with a
Smile,
A chocolate bar and a
Golden glint
In his eye.

- Peter Hattingh

A poem about one of the greatest stories, I haven't read a poem like this before it was sweet.
