In The Dark

The heartbeats of life,
are but a wave pattern to me.
I do not care about individuality.

I am glad my heart is cold,
after all, I can achieve my goals.
Stay out of my way!

Even if I am surrounded by warmth,
I do not feel a thing, I am in the dark.
My will is not my own, but that is fine,
I just want to disappear like a final waltz.

I could laugh at passionate feelings.
How many rows are those in numerals?
If I show you the world I experience,
You will probably be paralyzed with fear.
A place of dreams? How foolish.
I know not of such a location.

If I show you the world I experience,
You will get lost in the enumeration of symbols,
I am glad my heart is cold,
After all, I can achieve my goals,
Stay out of my way!

Even if I am surrounded by warmth,
I feel nothing, I am in the dark.

I hope this is not where you are in life but just a recollection of a time gone by! Very evocative!
