Thy Kingdom Come

Creeping out of bed in the chilly morn
Wrapping up in blankets
to watch the golden dawn
Faith birthed in the Risen Son
What can I do
Te help thy kingdom come?

I can offer my heart to the spiritually dead
I can offer my ears to ones who can't hear
I can offer my lips to those who would speak
I can offer my soul tothe Lord who lives here.

To live in His love is all that I ask
Learn from His word so faithfully laid
In gospel and psalm and glorious verse
the price of my life - His Son has paid.

Let me also be a sacrifice
Let me suffer for His glory
Let me rise on wings of fire
Let His love give me the power
To help His kingdom come.

"There and Back Again"

by brigitte liebenberg

A powerful, poetic journey back from the brink - literally! The poetry in this book is a direct result of the creative processes started by entering therapy for depression. The poetry speaks for itself and allows others to relate to the content in their own ways.
