cold shoulder

Suspended from her esteem I’m invisible. Her selective hearing omits my words. Clemency is not an option. She’s poisoned her friends against me.

I have a habit of saying the wrong thing. It’s just the way I am.

She asked what I thought of her haircut.

Home truths cannot be unsaid.

Oh foot-in-mouth, you're such a harsh mistress!

ROFL, good one Les. Who can interpret a woman's vanity? I'm not sure what "Home truths" are. I'm sure that's a typo, though, and you meant "Some," but in poetry you never know.

Thankyou all for your kind comments.
I enjoyed writing this one, but was not sure how to end it for sometime.

Looking forward to Wee Stories#14.

Nicely written. "She asked what I thought of her haircut." is a dangerous question indeed. I liked this. Thanks for the read.
