so why?

so why do you insist
upon being an insidious fool

arrogance
beligerance

hiding behind yo' momma's skirt

false prophecies
dieties

keeping the wolves at bay

when you know you can't run
you know you can't hide

the truth
it finds the way

camel dung in silence
stemaing on the shelves of golden sand

smells the same in your house
as it would my own

freinds, lovers, nudity
and all the nothing in between

in the end, in the end
you can't hide, contort, pretend

to not be the thing
that is easily seen

stop being a god damn girl
a pussy - kingdomless knight

pretending to save some random Queen
when you can't even get the living right

i laugh in the face of danger
i cry in the wake of it all

my oh my oh my
how the mighty fall
