Invisible Girl

It wasn’t easy being married to the Invisible Girl.

You’d think that spending your life with a superhero would be bliss, but it’s tough washing bloodstains out of invisible clothes. True, we only ever had to buy single tickets for the cinema, but often when I went to hold her hand I’d be left grasping at air.

When she finally left me I didn’t notice for a week. Superheroes, it seems, don’t need significant others.

Cool story. I always labour over how to deliver my more obscure concepts, but you have effortlessly just done it (there is a lesson there) particularly liked "When she finally left me I didn’t notice for a week" though it over powers the final line and makes it redundant.
