Graveyards

I tour the graveyards of your heart
and see the shattered dreams you leave
they lie like broken glass
strewn around a desert.

I see you walking barefoot
the shards, they cut deep into you
but still you walk along
but still you walk alone.

I see the pain you've left behind
the pain you've still to cause
it all adds up to the price
I will collect from you.

I see you walking barefoot
the shards, they cut deep into you
but still you walk along
but still you walk alone.

A hundred yeards and more will pass
through pain, debauchery and fear
I will not let you go
I will not set you free.
