Change of Heart
Change is an inevitable
Nothing is as invariable
In the scheme of history
Safe periodic transformation
Masses are shortchanged
Sacrilegious deed, indeed
Culprits are obstinate yet
Thinking righteous of selves
They march, we march
Toward status quo
Toward necessary change
Victory is for agents of change
The clouds are gathering
Saturation point approaching
Expected rain is coming
To wake up our dormant garden
Stormy rain or gentle showers
Heavy downpour or fine drizzles
Rain of sorrow or rain of joy
Rain of joy the hope of all
Are we really prepared
For the rain of joy
Then, how much of change
Have we truly embraced?
Change of heart
The finest of change
In the cherished rebirth
Of our battered land

| Some of your lines were lost to me, but the gist of the poem was definately NOT . . . The eloquent, for the most part, way you wrote of change is/was/will be a harbringer of the dark clouds of civil, then military disorder . . . It is not coming, my friend, it is among us now . . . As we speak . . . |
