Chosen Warriors

Chosen Warriors

We are mysterious individuals with an inventory of mind games that seems endless in perspective. On a quest to be true to ones self, but prepared to deliver the full assault should the opportunity arise. At our side hangs the shield of dreams or the wall of preservation to which we may hide behind should the other get too near.
Two warriors on a field of destiny moving together but never drinking from the cup of the other. The sword of fear drawn and poised to strike, though the scabbard of trust is there for the sheathing. In a comfort zone of non-alteration she moves watching him walk his path of self-destruction. Pretentious solitude in companionship with obsessive necessity.
What a wondrous couple these two make! If only the compromise of the individual journeys could be joined into an adventure of concurrent vivacity. Poetry in motion if either could see the other. Too caught up in themselves to notice the gift before them. A gift for which men and women have searched an eternity to possess, yet only the chosen few have attained. So precious is this treasure that its eminence is beyond recital.
Simple in nature but so complex in character that it's acceptance must be without compromise. These warriors on the battlefield of life have captured this gift of wealth and share it's blessing together. Yet do not understand that their battle is over. This gift called "LOVE!"
