Regret

I am stalked by
Trails of whispered lies.
Lines of wasted hours
Etch my face;
Rows of blurry shapes
Clutter my mind
And cluster in deceit
Around my memories of you.
Hollow, I choke;
A liar,
A husk.
I am only honest
On this page.

Great poem. I love that you ended with "I am only honest
On this page."

Beautifully written Frances. A very well-crafted piece of writing. I could read this over and over and not tire of it.
