so confused

Sometimes I get so confused…
Feel like the life I’m livings a lie
Looking for friendship, relationship
And coming away with nothing.
You lay there as they caress you
Feeling nothing but solitude
So numb inside-what’s wrong with you?
Were you always so hollow inside?
You say what the people want to hear
Do what they want you to do
And still you come out with nothing-
Realise no ones ever gonna want you.
What’s wrong with you?
All the faces I display
None of them seems to fit
My heart broken every time
Yet I can’t seem to stop trying
Holding onto the hope that one day
I’ll be who they want me to be.
