My Almost True Memoir

I haven't been writing for a while. all of the sports going on but please read and tell me what you think of my story!

He felt the crushing blows hit his pounded, sweaty body. He dodged a blow to the face only to get crushed with a flying hook to his left side. He jabbed repeatedly with his right hand, and swung wildly with his left. His left hand connected with his face, but not as hard as he had hoped. When his left connected he saw a gap right above his opponent’s abs. He went for a downward right hook, but it was dogged, sending his right hand way past his target. He quickly pulled back, but not quick enough. He felt a blow to his right temple connect like the strength of Hercules was in it. He was down in an instant. It felt like his head had just been hit by a baseball bat. He started seeing spots, and quickly blacked out.
He woke up feeling the cool crisp of the changing room. He looked around seeing his Mom and Dad standing around him and his brothers goofing off the corner.
“Who won?” he asked as he tried to sit up. It was a dumb question since he already new the answer. Joey did, obvious. He had blacked out, that was all there was too it. His head started to pound again, sending him crashing to the table in pain.
“He did son.” His dad stated blankly. “How’s your head?”
“It’s ok.” He returned “If it got ran over by a freight train.” Slowly, painfully he moved his legs to the side of the table, letting them rest swinging over the edge. He carefully sat up. Reaching for the aspirin and bottle of water his mom jabbed in his face. When he was done swallowing the aspirin, his brothers were done goofing off in the corner. When he got up finally, he quickly changed and packed his bags to leave. He felt like he was climbing Mount Everest instead of the stairs. He pushed open the heavy doors. ‘Why did the gym make the doors so heavy anyway?’ he thought as he found his brothers waiting for him in the ally leading to the street were his mom and dad parked the car. “Not tonight, guys I don’t feel like I can handle it.” He said
“What’s the matter **** head” John replied starting to circle around him.
“Yeah you got ******* beat today, don’t you want to redeem yourself in this family?” said Sam.
“Not tonight!” he yelled trying, desperately to get his weakened legs to move faster that a crawl.
“Not tonight” John mimicked pacing along side of him “****” John motioned with his head and Sam pushed him hard into the wall. He landed with a crash onto the hard pavement/cement mixture. He stood up instantly in fight mode, forgetting every thing. Except that he had to defend himself.
“Try it again.” He murmured threateningly. Both John and Sam moved in to attack. When John got into striking distance he had already raised his fists. He knew that this wasn’t a sissy boxing match with rules. This was a real fight. Were no matter what you did the fight went on until there was a clear victor. He lunged with his right onto John. Followed a split second later with and elbow to the face of Sam. John recovered first. He got nailed in the gut with a nee from John, and an elbow to the back of the head from Sam, sending him into a front flip. He stood up quickly turning around and charging into Sam, who had stepped the closest. His head connected with his collarbone, almost breaking it. Sam was now on the ground. He stood him up and put his arms under his armpits and his hands behind his head. Before John new what was going on he had sent Sam’s face right into John’s which sent them all to the ground. Spotting John in the jumbled heap of people, he quickly pulled him out and bent his arms behind his back.
“Give up yet?” he asked
“Yes!” came the bloodied response. And with that the fight was over.
