Barnyard Mind
Today I've found a treasure inside.
This precious jewel I'd worried was lost forever.
Calm enough with hope back in place,
I can plan for the next storm.
Clean out my mind barn so I'll know where things are.
No jewels slipping into hay,
Getting gobbled up by horses that eat all day,
Furious that that they can't go out to play,
Because I'm too afraid they'll get hurt out there.

| I love that last line. The whole piece has a good rhythm and sense of emotion. |

| This may be a short prose, but its words speak in many powerful volumes. I really enjoyed reading it. I know I must of read it atleast 6 times over and over again just to enjoy the feeling I got from it. |
