A new verse

By a stream perhaps
On some idle hill
We stopped
Let the wind play with our hair.

Hair on skin stood; rigid in its interest
We lay
As the sun set a new hope shone
I saw it in your eyes

Light faded
We lit a fire within ourselves
Burning that which we did not need

Pushing from our lips
A new verse

It's the 2nd stanza...I think I would rework the 2nd stanza. It is - contradictory, I think. The first 2 lines (well, why not, the other two as well) of 2nd stanza. Just this girls opinion,
