Bugsy

Tim kissed his wife goodnight
and rested his head

He lay in his bed
Sound and still until
he felt something queer
Something crawling near

Rustling and scratching
over his nave

Little, tiny, poison fangs
Waiting to suck his blood

Exo-skeleton armor
Ready for battle

Arachnid contractor

Made me shiver - how many of us are afraid of spiders? Interesting form and complete story.

I am afraid of spiders so this really bothered me. I thought it was original and interestingly told. Excellent word choice.
