Through Swinging Doors

Through swinging doors
I thought I'd found
The best years of my life

A woman 'neith 2 ounces
Shot of wiz and
Homemade wine

sh*t I tipped the cup
And Lordy by that time
She was lookin' fine.....

{Through swinging doors
Never thunk before
She ever would be mine........}

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'But,
When at first walk in
She was bending
O’er the jukebox
Hanging out
And man,
When I said that
She was hanging
It was way
Beyond a doubt
Had I known
She had a daddy
In the force
And working out.........
{Through swinging doors
Never thunk before
He’d try ta take me out........}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tender motioned me
For an ordered drink
I said some wine'd be fine

Then an hour missed
I ordered wiz
All my troubles were benign

So, I thought till. I
Spotted her through my
Glass of Jack, divine

{Through swinging doors
Never thunk before
She ever would be mine........}

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'But,
When at first walk in
She was bending
O’er the jukebox
Hanging out
And man,
When I said that
She was hanging
It was way
Beyond a doubt
Had I known
She had a daddy
In the force
And working out.........
{Through swinging doors
Never thunk before
He’d try ta take me out........}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Through swinging doors
He charged me
With a fist of attitude

Had ta choke back
Anxious giggles
He was so small for a dude

So I picked him up
And tossed him out
Then went ta claim my prize

{Through swinging doors
Never thunk before
She ever would be mine........}

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Still o'er the juke box
Humming tunes
And swaying thighs
I was sober now
Due ta Daddy
(That’s one funny guy)
Ya, I swung her 'round
And Holy Cow
She looked like 'sh*t' gone wild!
{Through swinging doors
Never thunk before
That drunkenness’ makes you blind........}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When at first walk in
She was bending
O’er the jukebox
Hanging out

Now I go
To A.A.
So I see
Better now

Had I known
She had a daddy
4 foot tall
And 60 pounds.........(LMAO)

{Those swinging doors
I'd adored before
Will never let me down........}

........again
