Captured By My Dreams (Alien's #4)

Can you imagine life beyond the stars

Alien landings - just up Alien stairs.

Perhaps, little green men in silver craft

Turning up one day, (and devotees laugh),

Up there in the sky, we knew they’d drop by

Razing our cities, our weapons they’d fry.

Injecting women with Alien seed

Neutering men, for their work force in deed -

Green is the new colour round here these days.

Martians have landed, they’re ruling our Earth.

Your days here are numbered,” says Alien mirth

Down in the underground, resistance lives

Rats swim with plague-germs, the water source gives

E-coli, Ebola, E-numbers, too

A mighty concoction kills you-know-who

Martians all dead, men neutered and sterile

Seems that rats will take charge in a short while.

This is fantastic for a dream
done so smooth;sweet as whipped cream.
You didn't flaw
Or break a law
By changing the plot or the theme

Lol - brilliant! 'War of the Worlds' eat your heart out! (with a bit of James Herbert thrown in!)

As always - a good read, thanks.
