Ocean Mulch

Black crow
On a red tree
That set itself
On fire.

Driving to
The rocky coast
On a mountain with
No driver.

Sweetest Brittni,
Don't sleep,
Just dream.

Eternal peace awaits you.
Don't sleep,
Just dream.

Dream.

Car lights stress
A right turn,
But the road doesn't go
That way.

Car engulfed
In Ocean Mulch.
Choke back
On the teal sea spray.

Congratulations.
Don't speak.
Just breathe.

You've finally made it.
Don't sing.
Just breathe.

Breathe.

Breathe.

Extinguished trees
And turpentine
Grow in the Ocean Mulch
You've landed on.

This paradise
Is never gone.
And it's all for you
And all you've done.

Underwater landscape.
Don't dream.
Just sleep.

You've found Heaven in the Ocean's Deep.
Now don't dream.
Just sleep.

Sleep.

Sleep,
Sleep.

Sleep,
Sleep,
Sleep,
Sleep.

This is completely beautiful.
Completely.
I strive to weave symbols into my writing like you do.

The only bad thing about this is that it reminds me of my new red VW beetle that I crashed whilst trying to navigate myself around washington DC.
I went the wrong way on a one way and ended up in a wall.

This is really sad. You have managed to achieve a begining, a middle and an end.

Very beautiful imagery. -- And unsettling (noticed this more on the second read through).

I love the repetition of "sleep" at the end. This poems simplistic writing really compliments the feel of it.

Also, congratulations is spelt incorrectly ("congradulations")...unless you wanted it to be that way. I've known a poet or two to mis-spell words purposefully :)
