time

there is something lost over time

that can't be replaced.

by knowing

by the will

by sacrifice

by love.

walking through life to a

setting sun

watching others run. knowing

this doesn't help.

trying to enjoy what is there

but unable to

stop looking at the setting sun

I like it. Time is a hideous beast, no? Funny how snippets of time plague our daily realities. I enjoy the last part best;

trying to enjoy what is there
but unable to
stop looking at the setting sun

That is a very sad poem of reality. I like it, but it makes me feel lonely...
