If I Were

If I were a book
Would you read me?
If I were a word
Would I be on the tip of your tongue?
Would I roll around in your mouth
Leaving a taste that reminds you of ecstasy?
Would you slowly enunciate me
Lingering on every syllable
Until I came slowly sliding
Into existence?
If I were a speech,
would you time me?
Or take pleasure
In every vowel
And consonant
That resonated from inside
Forming slowly
And passionately
A union of sounds
Colliding
If I were a thought,
would you conceive me?
Allow me into your innermost sanctum
To crawl through your desires
Your dreams
To become one with your ecstasy
Your pain
Your fetishes?
If I were but a moment,
would you live me?

I love how this flows. Creative, but sharp.

I would say this is fitting of a dictionary term of speech... well worded with your words...

That's really really neat.
I like it a lot.
