A Realization

As I sit in this empty room,
Silent through and through,
I think to myself,
'What must I do?'

In my heart,
Silent and true,
The sweetest vows made to me
Were by you.

But alas my love,
Sweet as dew,
In my heart I always knew
My love can never truly belong to you.

Who can define the love that we carry within us? The temptation of the fruit that lies just out of reach. The touch, the taste, the merging of souls that we long to embrace together. What we seek, dream to find, is the kissing of our souls.
