Missing You ©

My mum, I love her very much
though I am far away
I do not see her as I should,
I must go and stay.

She is always in my heart,
no matter where I am
we live so very far apart
but phone her when I can.

I miss her when I'm working
I miss her when I sleep,
I dream of her so often
my feelings are so deep.

I cry for her when I'm alone,
when I am really down.
I wish she was here with me
I just sit and frown

I will see her very soon,
when I cross the Irish Sea
I will hug her when we meet
as Scotland's where I'll be.

Beautifully written and touching.
I love the emotions you put into your writing, they are real, not just in the sense of making the poem work.
I absolutely loved it and enjoyed reading it.

The feeling of being away and the sentimental ways, we as human beings reflect on that which is not solemly available, renders no other answer, but that which lies in all of us...

it is good as it should be. i have laways appreciated your styles, now that i am living away from my mom, this poem of yours pierced through my state.
I will see her very soon,
when I ride a bus to my country
I will hug her when we meet
as Jhapa's where I'll be.
