To Dream

We sit opposite
One another
A perfect moment
Time seems frozen
Your beauty eclipsing
All around us
The music playing softly
In the background
The only reminder
That time slowly passes
You reveal to me more
Than you realise
And I understand
More than you know
A bitter sweet revelation
That now is not right
Will there ever be a right
The water feature gushes
I spare you your blushes
How I wish for more
Oh love unrequited
I shed a tear
While you look the other way
Is it really that impossible?

Yeah, I suppose so. But real love is better than the dream of love. It's the dreams that help the real along.

A hollywood movie dream. Movie love, not real, but all consuming and sadly never found.
