Part of Machine Farm part III

Still working on this project. Got a little done tonight.

Lifting a hideous head, that Spartan dog
Mechanized blackness, heathen artificial night
False starlights peep through shadows
And fast legs fly away from the builder

“With what stones have you wrought this monster
If not stones from Heaven, which serve for the thunder?
Why do you darken the rising sun
And leave me bled, but not kill’d?”

This black sprawling, overtaking
Monster moves with automated grace
Swarming city
What builder grants you privilege in this place?

“If you wonder why I am here
It is to taunt the kings of Babylon
If you wonder who I am,
Mon semblable, in lakéch”

This is fabulous. I love it. You've really got something going with this series.
