nuclear immaculate

white light swallows the entity we recognize as color
absorbing autoerotic verve from split atoms
as the camera’s cialis activates, ready to capture
every throbbing crevice of animated politic
mounting baritone monopoly [freeze frame]
who can be the most pompous,
monotheistic bastard,
the most delusional?
snap it

and smile with sharpened teeth
(mosquitoes carry parabolical pandemic with each flutter)
and preach with no voice
(slipping into flammable margin, the host passes on contamination)
on your knees

it’s raining slander inside the asylum of our hearts
it’s raining contagion, it’s raining…
no, actually it’s only
drizzling beads of mercury
onto the organs of our children’s history,
and the microchips of our ancestors

we can only revise
the cracks in our petrified
credentials so much, until
so little remains recognizable

headfirst, our headstones descend into virtual default
with embellished inscriptions leading our destinies
in figure eights, insulting the intelligence of our
pantomiming guardian angels

force feeding is reaching its climax
with hallowed aggression leading the charge
no species can survive an alpha holocaust

and the cost is the scalene memory of independence

as scattershot rays of white ash
blanket our optimistic context,
the symmetry of color, the grandeur of shade,
its dense glow reanimates the reich
of taboo illusion, with clouds of pale locusts,
with receding ocean, frozen with the polish
of radiations gloss
white cloaked pawns stumble into place
to push and push and the lone red button
is a glutton for grief, pulling wounded
ego to safety-pull

as herds of inebriated amoeba drift along
the matted mane of orphaned liability,
feeling the way through knots of unkempt
shrubbery, starving, with numb antennae,
camped out in the valley of Jungian split ends,
the reins constrict and the reign of white rain begins
unwarranted retribution has no real friends,
only the slithery sheen of artificial monstrosity
and all strokes of iridescence suffer the
fallout of antecedent manifestation

[a massacred construct of lava frozen cornucopia]

erupt-

a lone hydra lifts its tetragonal skull
to visualize a cloned reflection of
a perennial paradise, but nothing
is visible to the naked slate

it’s now drizzling
what appears to be
mummified white dust

oh my god, it’s drizzling our life force

and the bumper sticker christs
are doing nothing about it
a blatant mockery of the nationally
insecure thorns of implication
that they covet like their
over crowded tank of refuge

we swim for the cause of
self empowerment when
the great whites hunt for
control, and isolation is
a rainbow of brilliance
emanating rescue from
a pin, stapled to the cage
of proud charlatans
those traitors to the throne
of hypnotic testament

in these ever so flippant times
even roaches are reaching
mortal expectancy, fallen and
indestructible no more
stoned to death by the
scapegoat scholars of a
columbine concentration camp
where resolution is so far
out of focus, concentration
becomes just another bionic
follicle, skipping aimlessly
toward a sea of open mouths
ready to take in the placebo
of quixotic martyrdom

the days of tolerance are numbered
and coded to coincide with numbers
humming hymns of reverse verse
in tune with the concord of
millennium compliance

with endurance so distant from the grasp
of leper deformed hands, the enigmatic
idiom begins the count at seven
(the number of the beast) dedicating its brief
moments of sobriety
to cyclical spirituality

six…five…four

and all the signs are still out of focus

three…two…one…

and every single organism
is coated with white ash

Hey, Mike. It seems like I know you. Maybe from another site? The pic looks familiar too. Anyway, this is interesting. I mean, I like the theme. Dark, sure, but an accurate portrayal. A sharing of the view from your level. Your diction is deep. In fact, a few may tread in here and get stuck. You want to keep things moving, you want to use enough twelve dollar words to make the trip interesting, but not so many that a fellow has to stop by the dictionary to top off the tank every other stanza.

Keep it rolling, looks like this is the first piece you have here. Post some more.
