Petals To The Wind
Women are like flowers...petals to the wind...their stems sometimes strong, sometimes fragile, yet somehow against the elements of its seasons; the downpours of many a rain, the indecisive wind, they remain mostly whole. They easily quiver, they breathe in their life; beautiful, venerable, strong, deeply rooted to the ground, powerfully resilient….A wonder!
(A woman is) like velvet under the touch of a warm methodical caress...soft the layers, each one...full as the inner cavities of their soul and flesh; complex in variety, exotic in ways of otherworldly beauty, erotic only to those who love to revel in the mysteries of certain breeds, certain smells; only to those who not only recognize the divine rarity, but who inhale with all senses... their majestic portal... as if life depended on these moments of exalted experience.

| Alisha - i understand. Really, I do. |

| The title is nice. Great how you use it to draw the reader into the poem. |

| This is a great poem, I like it a lot. And I believe a woman knows more of what a woman wants than a man, a man barely knows what he wants. A man needs to pay attention to his intuitive nature, to stop and listen... when you strip away the facade, we all want the same things... we are just too caught up in rules and regulations and social idiems... thanks for the awesome read :) |

Alisha,
Your words are wonderful. The first part is so well said and is also
my favorite part of your poem.
Thank you for sharing, and I will read more of your work.
Warm regards,
: )

How do you know what certain women need? Next time you are in the arms of a women who makes you forget yourself, maybe you'll smell her, feel her, and then maybe you might be reminded of a flower slowly folding open to you like a morning glory to your defensive manhood.
It's poetry, and images of an individuals dreams, not a political correct fact to be put up against the fence. But, hey...If not for you, it would be less lively. |
