A gift to nature

Thank you life
you were my rope
I went to you
when I needed hope

I played in bushes
tucked away to hide
Within nature
I did confide

A caterpillars softness
bare feet in the grass
fluffy clouds overhead
In nature at last

Warmth of the sun
slight breeze on my face
The song of birds
I am in life's place

The crisp morning air
plants held drops of dew
To nature I say
I am thankful of you
