your carnivorous dispositions
have hardened my voice
hoarse and outraged
i'm left with no choice
in this matter of fact
of hatred and disgust
i lust
for nothing that you
could possibly breathe
into solid formation
it's station to station
of nothing but ugliness
greed and apathy
and you've stolen my empathy
i lie down for no one
and here you lie to me
now tell me
who would you rather be?

I like : 'your carnivorous dispositions', and the anger of the piece, the emotion. however, I don't really think the last two lines fit with the rest. Just my 2 pennies.

hi kelly. i guess that first date at burger king didn't go down too well for you. nice pic. the red one's much better than the orange. is it technically possible to steal someone's empathy? i guess if you're careless enough to have it stolen you couldn't want it that much ... nice ripe words of anger for an autumn afternoon. i hear a riff by metric under this and it being screeched out with a cathartic squeal. an antidote to the mainstream mulch of this site.
