Affection

It’s a beautiful day,
It’s a beautiful time,
It’s a beautiful way,
To lose your mind

You have a maze,
With thoughts to grind,
So there’s ways out.
They’re yours to find

Here comes the date,
No, not the time,
The perfect excuse
To say goodbye

We hide from eyes,
The opportunity is Dead’s disguise.
Living blind, behind that lie.
Upon the lie, where you lay
On a crazy night,
This beautiful day

Just press rewind.
Because this is the cause that you’ll never find.

I have friends of my own who write poetry.
And I have to say that it is truelly refreshing to
read poetry like what you have written.
It flows so well, and the meaning is just amazing.
Written very well, and thats coming from someone
who is not a fan of poetry.

The rhyming scheme is presented, really well. The opening is the best part.

Does someone have affection?
