God is an Author

Life is prose. Sentence following sentence in a parade of
cause and effect. Sorrow is a comma, a pause in the music. Grief is a
semicolon; a full stop before beginning fresh. God is an author. He only
respects his peers. He is not without mercy. He has given us dreams, and dreams
are our realm of poetry

This is great. You did a good job in a few words. I always think of God as a marvelous artist. I wish you all good dreams.

This is beautiful. A prose poem free of self.
One error, though; not in the writing, but in the conceptualizing. Are you familiar with "synchronicity"? Meaning = it isn't all cause and effect.

And He loves it best when your Word is unbroken! and truth your only subject matter.

Was it Blake that wrote "I believe only in two things; the true affection of the heart, and the holiness of imagination."

Interesting concept. I believe that in the etymology of the word poet, we find it flows from the same root as prophet. And anyone who has studied religions knows that prophets aren't self-anointed. I regard writing as a gift, a blessing. Hopefully my pen blesses others as well!
