Wild dreams on an ocean
of liquid gold
Thoughts of past times
Dreams of the future
The ebb and flow carries
us along we know not where
Decisions to be made….
Go with the flow and
drift aimlessly along
Or……..
Put up the sails???
Decide on a course
And stick to it….
Hmmm
Lets float a while longer
Languishing on the freedom
No plans, no rules no goal
Just lie and watch the clouds
Feel the sea breeze in our hair
Bobbing up and down
Like ducks on a pond
A pond deeper than our souls
Wider than our minds
Blacker than our worst nightmares

Shades of blue to green
The swell of the waves
Undulating our bodies
As we slip into the cold wetness
Dive down deep below
See the lights flash in our minds
As our lungs feel ready to explode
Deeper into the abyss
Seeing our deaths just below
No breath left, take just one deep gulp
Feel death take over
We fear, we fight
We grasp for the light above
But to late
Deeper, deeper we sink into death
The ecstasy of the afterlife
A new world
Together in this deep sea wonderland
We can explore, evolve, relish
This new way of being
In shades of green to blue………….
