Strobelight Seizures

<c>Pity the pretty Angelica screaming
Hallucinating fragments from recurring dreams
Summer cried when Angelica passed
Strobe light seizures in the grass

Brittle so fickle her fingers would bleed
needlepoint surgery with yarn gray and Red
the wind knocked again and from deep in her skin
the needle froze as fast as her heart did

Overzealous and jealous Fall was in tatters
Even the seasons so desperate in measures
Angelica was a broken irrepairable treasure
but a treasure nonetheless

A battle yes rattled the chair where she sat
unstable the needle retreated to lap
The yarn swayed patterns the outcome determined
by which color was left at the end

In sense in sanity she smiled with glee
fell in love with the needle and they both ran away
With a kiss the needle was a friend from her dreams
the seasons dumbfounded, stayed anyways.
