Miss You

(You always seem to know
exactly what to say.
Around you
Speech fails me,
Maybe the written word won’t.)

***

I look back at the history we’ve created,
Memories swirl and eddy;
Frosty Sunday sunrises,
Snuggled up in a jumper
Which your scent still clings to,
Cheering you on from the sidelines.

Conversation-laden days,
About everything and nothing.
Our inside jokes and laughter
Entwining us ever deeper
Into each others lives.

Evenings of poison-fuelled anticipation,
Dizzy from snakebite and lust.
Skin hunger bubbling just below the surface
Of our supposedly controlled emotions.

Nights of passion,
Degradation and humiliation.
Knives, needles and pins,
Among other things,
All make their
Indelible mark
Upon both our hearts.

Forever
Sally to your Jack,
I swear I love you more.
(miss you miss you)

Such interesting poetry. I read this many times and I really like it. While I am not into humiliation, I still relate so well to the closeness of this relationship.

This is pathos personified.I guess this poem is complimentary to your "Invisible"poem.

Lady, there's more to life than getting pain from your loved ones.

Seems this one and the other poem of yours are coincided, but I can be completely wrong... well versed...
