On working and having it free

I wish for just one year, or even half that, my landlord, electric company, phone company, net and so forth would all combine and send me a note saying'; due to the fact that you've been loyal and have paid us on time every month since you moved out of your parents home back in 1991-2, we are pleased to say that you need pay nothing for an entire year/6 month time. Once said time is up, you need not owe us anything for that period; nor will we raise your rates."

gosh, dreams are beyond wonderful.
If that were the case, however, even in a 6 month period, I'd save a little over 3 grand.

.... that doesn't seem a whole lot.
hm.

shrugs.

it'd still be a nice break. Instead of working for and giving up 500 dollars a month combined for rent, phone/net and my share of the electric, I'd get to save that up.

wait a moment...
that's all I pay a month?! wait.
5 hundred measly dollars?!

the hell?
wow.
If i had to do it myself, it would jump to a little under 1000.00 a month.
roommates are great.

oh, i forgot to count food in there. Add an additional 30 dollars a month.
thank you, Aldi's!

I really lucked out and I have a one bedroom house for 250 a month, which I split in half with a room-mate. Financially I do okay, but I do wish that I wouldn't have to pay any bills for awhile...then I could go to school full time! That's my dream. ;)

Well hell! 30 dollars a month on food? I must eat like a king. I spend about 400 on rent, but I got 3 roomies, but I pay half the rent to have ownership over the masterbed room and I never have to clean.
But yea, if Little Creek Electric or whatever those assholes are that make me pay like 200-300 a month on electric cut me a break I'd save a great deal. Being the big kid that I am, I look at 1000 dollars extra on hand as being a bunch of sweet video games, cd's, and movies.

But yea, try this: 850 on rent [I pay half which is 400]. 80 for water, 15 for gas, 200-300 for electricity, and around 200 on food every month.. Wait I never added it up. it's around 800 dollars. Man - I needa cut back on fast food. And I don't believe in saving money so, my extra like 500-700 goes to video games. Oh yea, I forgot, I got a new car, so like.... 200 to that every month. And insurance. Eck. Man... My funds are dwindling as we speak.
