In The Dark

In a small close
In a smaller town
Lived a man
In the Dark
With no friends

The reason for this
Was the taste on his breath
That stenched of Death
In the dark

Please don’t feel sorry
For the man
With no friends
He was a beast of a being
Know this…

That the rot of a child
Long
Digested
Dwelled on his breath
Till the next
