Have You Seen Them

Have you seen my dad?
He left so unexpectedly.
Have you seen my aunt?
her laughter is like the rain.
My grandma came before I was born,
her name is Lettie.
Or the rest of my grandparents,
are they proud of me?
When I come to the gates,
will you let me in?
Can i hug my loved ones,
be near them for eternity?
Tell them I love them,
and will be with them someday.
Tell them to watch over,
and to keep us strong.

Oh, this poem touches my heart! I lost my godson in '05 and my mother in April and this poem helps me. Thank you for writing it!
