poetry blocks

reading the lines of my wanna-be selves,
there is a release, of sorts.

in my mind's imagination, there is
the sorting out of crumpled papers
caught in a stampede of dust bunnies
(under my bed)
herded by the wind of an open window--

somewhere, a door closes
at the same time.
