When I Need You

Isn't that how we all are?
We want what we want
That's when we call

No, not just that burden
Appreciated, feel good onto ruin
Emotional reaction of fact

Resistance does vary
Sporadic, sparse, broken, steaming
Tales of glory, dreamin'...

How do you tell
Deserving and not
When its okay, to follow your heart?

Don't let it stop, unless
Turns its back, No! Not even then
Things you do not understand

Not being evident
What even you thought, tsk tsk..
Wondering, never would know

Often what's left unsaid, pride
Are the reasons sound or instead
Rude, cold, overbearing reply?
