Storm

Frightening and beautiful,
This fierce expression of
Nature's unforgiving rage.
Violent and sporadic,
Unpredictable; chaotic.
Angry winds force
Entire tree lines to obey
Their every destructive whim.
Strong gusts tossing
Anything they can into
The side of the house,
And onto the roof....
Meanwhile, I just sit and hope
That we will all be ok,
And wish for it to end.
