Heroic Amber
Amber gold rises at dawn,
Spilling light across the land,
Until darkness dead and gone,
Is less than a grain of sand.
Giving breath to light of day,
And serenading songs of birds,
Heroic Sun seals nights decay.
Far melodious than mere words.
Visible rays of warmth descend,
Upon her Amber locks of grain,
Gently blowing with the wind,
That try to hide her deepest pain.
Dropping rain from sad cloudy eyes,
Distilled through lashes of love,
Create thunderstorms in the skies,
As she cries to Heroic Sun above.
Amber lightning strikes amid the air,
Crashing down upon her with force,
Strong enough to cause great despair,
Without exposing the hidden source.
So picking herself up from the earth,
As Heroic Sun extends an Amber hand,
To help Amber gold find rebirth,
And keep running across the land.
